(1863-1943) Alfred is the son of Thomas Jefferson Daugherty and Sarah Ferguson. He is buried in Hackett Cemetery in Livermore, Kentucky which is in Mclean County. He married Luellen Palestine Kessinger, the daughter of Virgil Preston Kessinger and Sarah Gilstrap. Alfred and Luellen's daughter, Halie Ann Daugherty, married James Jackson Kassinger. Their son is Darrell Kassinger who married Rhoda Betty Stone. They are the parents of Michael Eugene Kassinger (me). Alfred Judson Daugherty's wife Luellen died after 1908 during child birth and the baby did not live either. Family members were told by Halie that her mother was buried in Richland Baptist Church Cemetery just outside of Livermore. She has no stone and no one knows exactly where she is buried.

(1895-1985) She is the daughter of James Foster and Delitha Yates. She married Joseph Robert Stone and their daughter is Rhoda Betty Stone Kassinger (My mother). The Stone is located in Poole which is near Sebree, Kentucky in Webster County.
(1891-1956) Son of Joseph Sorrell Stone and Nancy Margaret Fraser. He married Ida Bell Foster. They are the parents of Rhoda Betty Stone Kassinger (My mother). The Stone is located in Poole which is near Sebree, Kentucky in Webster County.

James Jackson "Jack" Kassinger & Halie Ann Daugherty
James Jackson "Jack" Kassinger is the son of William Netter Kassinger and Martha Jane Hicks. Jack's wife, Halie Ann Daugherty is the daughter of Alfred Judson Daugherty and Luellen Palestine Kessinger. Jack's father William Netter Kessinger is the son of Virgil Preston Kessinger and his first wife Martha Ann Daugherty. Halie's Mother Luellen Palestine Kessinger is the daughter of Virgil Preston Kessinger and second wife Sarah Gilstrap. Meaning that Jack's father and Halie's mother were siblings making Jack and Halie first cousins. (This has confused many family members.) Jack and Halie are the parents of Darrell Kassinger who married Rhoda Betty Stone. Michael Eugene Kassinger (me) is their son.
Franklin Kassinger (1925-2000) and Mary Frances Frasure (1926-1999) are the parents of Franklin Kassinger Jr. He died before them (1948-1969) and left a wife Shelia and daughter Stacy Kassinger Maddox. Frank Senior is the son of James Jackson Kassinger and Halie Ann Daugherty. Frank and Frances are my aunt and uncle and Franklin Jr. is my cousin.

The family had a beautiful carving put on the back of the stone of the homeplace of Frank and Frances. We had many wonderful Kassinger family reunions there. The home is located in Livermore, Kentucky as is the stone which is in Oak Hill Cemetery.
